Interior of merchants living room from Aalborg. By the wall with a window stands the dining table with the head of the family´s place at the end in front of the wall closet, and with seating on the long bench for the men of the household. The women would stand at the other side.The stained-glass windows were donated as a memorial and bear the donor´s name with date. The door in the window-wall once went out to an external gallery. The German iron stove is a jamb-stove with no outlet in this room. In the corner stands a four-poster bed from 1642 of the type often used as the bridal bed.
