Tasmanian Aboriginal club / throwing stick made for a Hobart collector.
A very rare wooden club and stick tapered to a point each end, roughly carved in concentric circles at one end. Written on the club, in hand of collector Edmund Milne, are the words “Paleolithic club – presented by Taylor, Hobart”.
