Straight, knee-length coat, with kimono sleeves and square turndown collar. Curved open pockets on front panels. Fastens at the front with three large semi-spherical buttons in black paste. Lined with turquoise blue rayon taffeta.
Balenciaga began the 1960s with a very minimalist concept in shapes and lines, but not so in colour. The couturier used this intense turquoise blue to compensate for the constructive simplicity of this coat.
