Cyboars, "Part Boar, Part Robot," began life in 1996 as characters of a comic book series in which intergalatical boar-aliens battle The Renegade Bulls. After one spectular battle, the Cyboars crashed their spacecraft on earth. Rescued by a technological agency callers Cybernetic Organisms Robotic Engineering (CORE), the injured boars are fitted with cybernetic and robotic body parts to replace those damaged in the crash. Each of the six Cyboars characters--Bush Hoga, Hog Kong, Chop Suey, Air Boar, Stampede, and Rabid Fire--have different robotic body parts and thus different extraordinary powers and talents. All of these powers are needed to combat the Renegade Bulls who have also wrecked their spacecraft on Earth and have been rebuilt with robotic body parts by Symbiotic Technology Altered Genetics (STAG), CORE's main earthly rival. In conjunction with the release of the Cyboars comic books, Imaginary Limitz, Inc., issued action figures of each of the robotic characters, each with accessories that emphasized his special powers.
