The Hut' belonged to the Adelaide Hospital Cancer Block and Consumptive Home which were located on Botanic (now Hackney) Rd on the eastern side of the Botanic Gardens, an area previously occupied by the Adelaide Lunatic Asylum. It was used between 1902 and 1931. The picture shows three nurses and two gentlemen, possibly patients.
