A woodcut print by the South African artist Norman Catherine (b.1949). The work was part of Catherine's first exhibition in Johannesburg in 1969. Short Biography: Born in East London in the Eastern Cape, Norman Catherine went to the East London Technical College Art School in 1967 and 1968. He moved to the United States in the 1980s and currently works from his studio in Schoemansville near the Hartbeespoort Dam.
