After Käthe Kollwitz

The Drawing Year Alumni, 2015. Kate Kirk was born in Scarborough in 1988. She graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2009 with a degree in Fine Art, and worked for some time as a ceramics teacher and studio technician. She completed an AHRC funded Masters in History of Art at the University of York, specialising in Early Netherlandish painting, before moving to London to study at the Royal Drawing School.
