The construction of a field for jousting and political tournaments started in Partido de la Costa to solve disputes. The intention behind this initiative is to celebrate duels among supporters of different parties. The popular song says “Al don, Al don, Al Don pirulero, Cada cual, cada cual, Atienda su juego, Y el que no, y el que no, una prenda tendrá” (Al don Pirulero, everyone must play his game, the one who doesn’t, gets a penalty). More information on the rules and conditions of such contends has not been confirmed yet. We are certain about the development of this project because of the testimony of a neo-medieval armorer that is creating unusual weapons for these duels. He has transformed the famous “pirulin” lollypops from his childhood into two lethal weapons. Who will be the champion? Let the game begin!
