Aland Court, Finland Street, Rotherhithe, Southwark, Greater London

The apartment blocks of Aland Court face the historic Greenland Dock. Originating from late 17th century, the dock was used for re-fitting ships, for the whaling and timber trades, and later, ocean-going liners. The dock closed in 1970 and the area was later redeveloped to support water sports and residential accommodation.
