It was the first building inaugurated in Brasilia. It is the official residence of the President of the Republic. Designed in 1956 and inaugurated on June 30, 1958, it is one of Oscar Niemeyer’s masterpieces. It is a rectangular building, with two floors, whose main element is the glass façade and the white marble columns, which have become a symbol of Brasilia.
