An engineer from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center prep a remote-controlled aircraft for take-off. The aircraft is equipped with a unique set of sensors and software and was assembled by a team of engineers for a competition at the agency's Kennedy Space Center. Teams from Johnson Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center joined the Kennedy team in competing in an unmanned aerial systems event to evaluate designs and work by engineers learning new specialties.
