Oil paintings by Cajal showing the muscles and circulatory system of the neck, the anatomy of circulation in the neck and face, thorax, and abdomen, and the circulatory system of the thorax and abdomen. He was passionate about painting and drawing from a very young age. While studying in Zaragoza, he took advantage of classes in anatomy and dissection to develop his artistic skills.
