Angbuilgu, a Sundial

'Angbuilgu' is a sundial telling the divisions of seasons and time, and made in Chsun Dynasty. Its name originated from the shape which looks the clock plate is concave in the form of traditional large kettle and headed to the sky. Angbuilgu naturally expressed the circular motion of the sun, and informed the time through the direction of shade, and even 24 divisions of seasons can be known by measuring the length of the shadow, providing the function of a calendar. Inside the clock, pictures of 12 gods are drawn so that even those who are illiterate can easily know the time.
