Announciation

The small painting represents the scene with the classical religious method deriving form the gospel of Luke; in the cremonese school, probably the school to which this picture belongs, the most similar work should be that of Bernardino Gatti "the Sojaro" of the XVI century for the church of Saint Sigismondo outside the walls of Cremona.
