This post card, mailed from Atlanta, Georgia, on February 24, 1915 at 4:30 p.m. depicts the suburban development of Ansley Park, Atlanta. This neighborhood was established in 1904 and completed in four phases, ending in 1930. Ansley Park features "a curvilinear arrangement of streets, numerous parks, and a wide range of eclectic and period architectural styles." The streets were designed like parkways, with landscaping, trees, and lawns bordering the curbs. All of this design was done with intention of creating the "appearance of a vast public park."
