Every week there are cases of rape in Sweden and many young women feel unsafe when out alone. Nadja Björk has invented this trouser belt-buckle against rapes.

You put the buckle on your own belt and you need both hands to open it, which makes it much more difficult for an attacker to open it.

Nadja came up with the idea together with some friends when she was studying technology and design at upper secondary school in the town of Skellefteå.

The buckle was sold in stores and Nadja worked fulltime with the buckle in her own company Shoutout.
