Antique Newspapers: The Times. Number 30520 AN_50_0001

From a collection of antique newspapers containing articles relevant to Black British history; these are often regarding the Translantic Slave Trade, however some articles relate to musicians, sportsmen and British imperialism.
This newspaper includes a letter from William Huntley of the London Missionary Society on 'The Transatlantic Slave Trade in Central Africa' (page 6, second column), a further article on Huntley's letter (page 7, third column), and a letter from ‘F w Chesson of the Aborigines Protection Society on Cetywayo's [Cetshwayo] abandoned visit to London’ (page 9, third column).
