Apotheosis of lyric poetry

Apotheosis of lyric poetry is depicted in four different section.
On the stage side: the allegory of Music, seated on a throne and surrounded by little angels, inspires the Courage ( on the right, holding an olive branch in her hand ). on the left the allegory of Pain with a snake biting her bleeding breast and, just below the clouds, two angels representing Joy.
On the entrance side: we can distinguish Poetry ,laurelled, as the goddess in the middle, sourrounded by Philosophy, Eloquence, Glory.
On the sider sides: two groups of little angels, to complete a round decoration frame.
