In 1971, Nutting Associates released Computer Space, the world's first coin-operated video arcade game. It was followed swiftly by landmark games such as Atari's Pong and Breakout. Galaxy Force is a shooting game manufactured by Sega, which traces its origins to earlier games such as Space Harrier and After Burner. The game is famous for its extremely advanced sprite graphics and its slower place, which allows players to advance through levels based on skill rather than luck. Galaxy Force was released in multiple arcade formats, this version being the most ornate.
