Archaeological human clay figurine fragment excavated from the South African Iron Age archaeological site of K2, block 1, section 12, dating approximately AD 1030 - AD 1220. The figurine depicts a female torso from hips to mid-torso, the top of a left thigh is also present. The cylindrical waist expands into well-rounded hips. The figurine is characterised by a protruding navel with punctured decoration surrounding it. A set of dotted lines radiate to the left and right of the navel. A single vertical line, with two adjacent points at the tip, has been dotted extending upwards from the navel. On the back extending from the buttocks, along the spine, is a single punctuated line, veering off from this line at a right angle and to the right is another punctuated line once again finishing in two adjacent points. A perforation is present below the navel.
