Archaeological human clay figurine fragment excavated in 1970 from the South African archaeological site of K2, test trench, layer 15, dating approximately AD 1030 - AD 1220.The figure consists of torso, left breast, right arm and neck. The torso is slightly elongated and cylindrical extending from navel to neck. The left breast is still in tact, positioned just below the breakage line. The right arm extends at a right angle to the torso and is merely a pinched extension of the torso. The arm is flattened and the edges are rounded. The tubular neck is large in comparison to the stubby arm. No decoration is visible on the figurine.
