Mike taught the participants how to make delicious apple pies. While waiting for the pastry to set, the group ventured to the beach to to take time to observe, listen and respond to their surroundings through creative writing with Caroline. Participants took turns to document the walk with polaroid pictures.

The Around the Table project aims to explore food, creativity and culture in regular workshops, to offer adult carers a moment of respite from their caring role. The workshops will enable carers to develop new support systems, build their confidence and enjoy a new sense of passion and achievement in their daily lives.
