Artemis exhibit: Artwork of Ednéia

Artemis exhibit held at "Casa das Rosas", from October 1st to 20th, 2019. Portrait of "Ednéia". The project unites photography and painting to promote breast cancer artwork awareness.

"I was 38 when I discovered cancer. I followed the prescribed procedures, but three years later, metastases came. And then I started palliative treatment. This palliative term carries a strong stigma attached to death. However, today, the patient with metastatic cancer can live longer and better. People need to understand that as long as there is treatment, there will be a lot of life."
