At Astrotech's Payload Processing Facility, the second array of solar panels on the Dawn spacecraft is deployed. After testing, the panels will be stowed and Dawn will be moved to the Hazardous Processing Facility for fueling. Dawn is scheduled to launch June 30 aboard a Delta II rocket from Launch Complex 17-B at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Dawn's mission is to explore two of the asteroid belt's most intriguing and dissimilar occupants: asteroid Vesta and the dwarf planet Ceres. Photo credit: NASA/David Lyons-Orbital Sciences
