At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASCAR racer Jason Leffler’s instrument-laden vehicle is being prepared for its three-mile-long drive down the Shuttle Landing Facility runway. The operation is part of Kyle Busch Motorsports’ program to test aerodynamic and real-world capabilities on one of the flattest surfaces in the world.
