At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, Expedition 52-53 crewmember Paolo Nespoli’s wife, Alexandra, waves to her husband July 16 as he departs for a nearby airport and a flight to his launch site at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Nespoli, who is from the European Space Agency, Randy Bresnik of NASA and Sergey Ryazanskiy of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) will launch July 28 from Baikonur on the Soyuz MS-05 spacecraft for a five-month mission on the International Space Station.
