Los Angeles, United States

Interior and exterior of the mouth, body, outside of the handle, and top of the foot are glazed black; The top of the mouth, the neck, shoulder, underside of the handle, and outside and underside of the foot are reserved.
Around the neck at the join to shoulder: row of tongues; on the shoulder: four up-and-down palmettes (one alone, three joined by a vine). Two narrow red bands on the body just below the join to the shoulder; a single band at point where the body tapers in toward the foot, and two bands at join to foot.
Some abrasion on the lower front, and minor chips on the mouth and handle. Much of the glaze on the body has misfired grey to red.
