Part of a red-figure loutrophoros-hydria (vase for carrying water for the nuptial bath) from an Attic workshop, with a marriage scene: it portrays female figures with an unguent box, a tray bearing fruit and small caskets. On the other side, a winged female figure with a torch accompanies the bridegroom to the bridal chamber. Attributed to the Marlay Painter. c. 430 BC H. 0,195 m. Gift of Peggy Zoumboulaki in memory of her husband Tassos (ΓΕ 35495)
