Attic red-figure loutrophoros-hydria

Part of a red-figure loutrophoros-hydria (vase for carrying water for the nuptial bath) from an Attic workshop, with a marriage scene: it portrays female figures with an unguent box, a tray bearing fruit and small caskets. On the other side, a winged female figure with a torch accompanies the bridegroom to the bridal chamber. Attributed to the Marlay Painter. c. 430 BC H. 0,195 m.
