Head wearing the Phrygian cap of the funerary deity Attis found in the Early Christian Necropolis of Tarragona. The effigies of this god have symbolic-religious content and his figure is associated with the protection of the deceased and their resurrection. The cult of this divinity of oriental origin was officially established throughout the Empire in the time of the emperor Claudius.
