Toy makers have recently produced a new generation of small, fast, remote-controlled racers, a technological advancement over the remote-controlled cars and vehicles of the mid- and late-20th century. The Micro Terrain Titans can drive over a stack of papers, a pencil, and even a computer keyboard as well as hardwood floors and carpeting. A turbo boost button makes them go very fast. The remote controller also serves as a charger. The three batteries power a five- to 10-minute ride on a 90-second charge.
