This is a hat that was used by young girls born into an upper-class family in the Joseon Dynasty. Designs symbolizing longevity, health and happiness were embroidered on silk fabric. An ornament in the shape of a flower that was decorated with a tassel and jewels was placed on the crown area, while a hair ribbon was placed on the back.
