Balogun Market is located in the heart of Lagos Island. It sprawls across so many streets in the part of Lagos usually called Éko and is widely recognized as the best place to buy fabrics, shoes and all sorts of wares including meat and other food stuff. Fried and cooked food are also sold in the market at various prices; there are usually no fixed prices. The buyer and seller negotiate and haggle until they reach a compromise.
