Hundreds of thousands of baseball fans turned out in Kansas City in 2015 for the parade and rally for World Series winners, the Kansas City Royals. The parade ended at the North Lawn of the National WWI Museum and Memorial (Liberty Memorial) across from Union Station. Attendees watched the rally in the shadow of the Liberty Memorial Tower.
