Basket, Trinket

Coiled, bundle/rods are probably grasses & stitched w/ grass. Rounded container w/ the base tapers & is slightly smaller than the rim. Design: 6 rows of black, brown & red bands w/ small rectangular "drops." Yarn & thread in the design rows appears to have been sewn on the completed basket; loose ends visible on interior.
