This is a twined basket in natural coloured fibre with black and red stripes. Has a  piece of wood stretched across the bottom to keep it stiff and apart. It is made from strings made by women from fibre. The fibre is cut then put in a pot and boiled before being rolled into thread.  The handle is cut from cow skin. It is used by women to carry food when travelling.
