This Pomo feathered basket is coiled, with a willow three-rod foundation. The sedge (tan) ground has a dark design motif done in bracken fern stitches. There are quail top knot feathers and red woodpecker feathers nipped in at intervals. There are also white glass "seed" beads affixed with black thread over the top of the dark areas of the design motif.
