Basket

Twined, oval, open container made of plant fiber. Warp & weft probably cedar bark w/ dyed grasses for design. Technique is called wrapped twining & the rim is finished w/ a wrapped stitch. The ground color is yellowish w/ purple, yellow & red stripes at rim & base edge w/ a yellow band in the middle w/a purple zig-zag in its center.
