Sadberk Hanım Museum
İstanbul, Türkiye

Compositions of vases in pulled thread work containing longer slender stylised leaves with a rose in the centre and rose buds hanging down on either side are repeated six times along the ends of the towel. Below the vases is a band of zigzag satin stitch worked in metal-wrapped silk thread. The short edges of the towel are fringed and there is a closed fringe below the border. From Sadberk Koç’s original collection..
