1800/1900

Hungarian National Museum

Hungarian National Museum
Budapest, Hungary

Strong, leaf-shaped nickeled double-edged blade. It is attached to the handle with screws along with a long, strong, four-sided upper part. Under it, the wing, made of a piece of antler, is attached to the handle with a strap tied six times. The handle is tied around with straps crossing one another. On two places, twisted straps don’t let the hands slide. The blade is covered with a leather protection. Made by Gab. Kellner in Vienna.
