Beer straw

This beer straw without a sieve was made by a young man called Nyaundi. It is cut with an axe(panga) and hollowed with a wire. It is used for drinking beer from a communal pot by old men. Beer tubes are also common among the Kalenjin, Luo and Abaluyia.
