This beautiful oval bronze container, with the distinct coloration of its patina, but an unfortunately damaged neck, is assumed to be linked to the Dongson culture of Vietnam.

The two shells-like pieces forming the container were joined with iron pegs and their surfaces decorated with a "J" motif, displayed on a background of small squares, pointing to an influence of basketry. In addition, tumpal (triangle) decoration can be seen around the edges of the piece.
