One of a set of 18 circular Belgian plates. The depiction on this plate is of a court house at Arlon with three people in conversation in center of gate. Plate has a blue and gold decorated border. Capital of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg, Arlon was the scene of an infamous massacre in which over 120 inhabitants were killed in August 1914. Presented to President Wilson by the King and Queen of Belgium at the White House, October 30, 1919.
