İstanbul, Türkiye

Zigzag decorated medium-sized belt. A belt composed of three fragments. One single piece was reduced by attaching all the fragments together and completing the small spaces between the fragments. The outer border is perforated with small string holes with short gaps between them. The surface is decorated with four bands composed of zigzag borders placed in between double horizontal bands of embossed dots at the top and the bottom. Eagle figures of the same type, in a walking pose, are placed in the panel on the right end. One row of floral rosettes is placed in between these figures. There are repair marks from the period the belt was in use.
