Bingata textile fragment: cherry blossoms, waves, mountains motifs

This bingata fabric has been dyed with various colors to show mountains in a split-dyed ground style. Blue ocean wave motifs are seen between the mountains, with further wave head motifs added. The mountain-shaped waves of the blue ocean wave motif layers with the row of mountains to create a gently pleasing compositional rhythm.
