André Carrazzoni (b. 1897). "Getulio Vargas. 2nd ed. plus several notes and an unpublished chapter". Rio de Janeiro: Livraria José Olympio Editora, 1939. [2], 212, [4] p., il.; 19 cm.

On March 18, 1939, Getulio writes in his Diary: “After lunch, I took my usual walk, accompanied by one of my assistants. This time I was also accompanied by Carrazoni, who is writing a book about my life. I gave him some clarifications and told him that I like to be interpreted more than to explain myself”.
The book is inserted in the context of the necessary historical and biographical narratives that aimed to consolidate the country within the new directive. The author, a regular at Livraria José Olympio, although he was not arrested, came to suffer persecution from the repression installed with the Estado Novo.
Bound in leather with engraving of the title and authorship in relief and bindings. Book packed in box.
Possibly, the author donated his own copy to Getulio Vargas.
Special edition, outside the trade, of ten copies on plain paper, numbered and signed by the author: Number 1. André Carrazzoni.
Photographic reproduction of Getulio Vargas at the age of twelve at the beginning of the book.
