Haute couture black gown, with floral lace sleeves. Velvet cuffs and shoulders. The cuffs close up with two buttons. Bateau neckline with lapels. Seven jet buttons are placed on the left side of the back of the dress as well as two invisible ones.

To design his evening dresses, Versace focused on the study of materials with the aim of breaking ground in the way the fabric draped and renew the esthetic of past trends.

The lace sleeve emphasizes the asymmetry of the neckline, and the wide lapels follow the draped necklines created by Vionnet.
