The dragon design represents the dignity of dynasty and using the design is strongly controlled by the Royal Authority. It is named ‘Yongchung’ but usually is also called ‘Yongjun’. Dragon pattern is designed on the body of the jar. The purpose is for keeping liquor and the jar works for the national ceremony. A typical 18th century jar contains a detailed dragon. (Dm 14.5cm)
