A royal insignia is a kind of badge symbolizing the king, queen, crown prince, and crown princess. Royal insignia is usually made of satin and adorned with supplementary weft and embroidery, and sewn on the breast, back and both shoulder of the ceremonial robes. This is queen's insignia, made of red-purple satin damask embroidered with gilded and polychrome threads. It is assumed to be sewn on the burgundy ceremonial jacket (Dangui) or robe (Wonsam). The five-clawed dragon is placed in the middle and then rocks, waves, water drops and clouds are richly and lively embroidered around of it.
