Few games, in history, tackle heath issues head on. Game manufacturer Jagasu produces its "Eat to Win" game in the United States, and the game is designed to help players lost weight. Simply stated, play money in the game is equal to calories. The less you consume, the more money you have. Game developer Jammi Roscoe, a parent, sought to create a game where kids could have fun while counting calories. The board game version allows players to pretend to win points by avoiding calories. Another edition, the Kids' Weight Loss edition, allows players to count calories in real time, and win play money by avoiding them.
