"If you're going to go, go big," Bucephalus Games President Dan Tibbles proclaimed. And go big he did. In 2008, Tibbles launched his fledgling company Bucephalus Games with a whopping g 37 titles, instead of testing the waters with just one or two. These games span many genres, including strategy games, card games, party games, and general board games. Bucephalus' first 12 products, which were released in July 2008, were in development and testing for two years and are products of game industry veterans. Tibbles plans to sell these games in smaller venues, such as hobby and bookstores, but not in the general market.

Kachina is a strategy board game based on the myths and legends of Native American Kachina spirits. The game is composed of Kachina spirit tiles, each with a number and ability. Players arrange the tiles in rows and columns in an attempt to have the strongest spirit in each line. Each time a new high card is placed, the special abilities of that Kachina are activated, which has the ability to change the rules of the game.
